NCP Appoints Paterson Executive Director

Niagara Cerebral Palsy (NCP) is excited to announce the appointment of Jeff Paterson as its new executive director, effective November 1, 2014.  After a nation-wide search, Paterson was selected from a competitive field of candidates.

"We are very pleased to welcome Jeff as part of the team at NCP," said Rita Tweedie, NCP's chief financial officer.

Paterson earned a master's degree in pastoral ministry from Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora, NY, and a bachelor's degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations and advertising from Canisius College.

"Niagara Cerebral Palsy has been a pillar of this community for 60 years, and I am humbled to have the opportunity to lead the organization into the future," said Paterson, "With its committed Board of Directors and outstanding staff, there is no limit to what NCP can accomplish."

Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) John Reardon departed mid-August to relocate out of the area.

Tweedie served as the agency's interim CEO/executive director.
